Stormborn
Released December 13, 2025
Born in thunder and raised by pain, Hunter Wade is the kind of man the storm couldn't break because the storm is what made him. Stormborn is a declaration of freedom, defiance, and survival—a life forged through loss, betrayal, and hard miles, with a man who would rather die on his feet than ever bow to a throne.

They hit, they break, and they leave scars behind. But his mother taught him something that stayed with him: those hard times can build a man the world can't tame. So when he was broken into pieces, he learned to stitch himself back together in the dark.
Loss became part of his education. He buried friends before their time and loved a woman who eventually walked away. Those wounds taught him that nothing in life is guaranteed, and that the things worth keeping are the things you're willing to fight for. Every scar became a record of what he'd survived, and every battle became another reason to stand his ground.
He's looked trouble straight in the face. He's stared into the grin of the devil and dared him to take another swing. Death has already tried once, and somehow he came back from the dirt like a wolf crawling out of the dust. That changes a man. It leaves him with very little fear and even less patience for anyone who thinks they can tell him how to live.
He's seen the world turn against him. He's watched brothers become ghosts while men preaching salvation lived lives full of their own sins. He's known both sides of survival—having enough money for whiskey and having barely enough to eat. Through both, he kept one thing that couldn't be bought or taken: the truth inside his heart.
For him, freedom isn't a gift. It's a wound you choose to carry and a war you fight every morning just to breathe your own air. He doesn't expect the storm ahead to be gentle. He welcomes it. Storms are where he learned who he was, and every time the world told him he couldn't survive, he answered by standing back up.
So let the sky split open. Let the cold rain fall. Let the thunder come looking for him. He's already lived through darkness that would swallow other people's light. He won't change to make cowards comfortable, and he won't bow just because someone demands it. He's stormborn—wild-blooded, fire-hearted, rooted like stone, with thunder in his blood and a lifetime of battles in his bones.
I was born in a thunderclap, raised in the shadow of pain, Mama said the hard times build a man the world can’t tame. I’ve been broken into pieces, stitched myself up in the dark, Every scar across my skin is a damn badge of who I am. I’ve buried friends too early, loved a woman who walked away, Learned the only thing you own in life is what you fight to save. I’ve stood face-to-face with trouble, stared the devil in the grin— And said, “If you want me dead, boy, you better swing again.” I’m cut from storms and iron, fire forged into a man. If life knocks me down, I stand—hell, that’s my brand. ’Cause I’m stormborn, wild-blood, hell-raised and free, Ain’t a soul on this earth gonna tread on me. Let the skies crack open, let the cold rain fall— I’ve walked through worse and I’m still standin’ tall. If you talk behind my back, better say it to my face— You can kiss my damn ass if you don’t like my ways. I’m stormborn—lightning in my chest, fire in my bones. I’ll die with my boots on before I bow to a throne. I’ve felt the world turn on me, watched my brothers fade to ghosts, Seen preachers talk salvation while they sin more than most. I’ve been rich enough for whiskey, poor enough to starve, But no matter where I stood, I kept truth inside my heart. I learned freedom ain’t a gift—it’s a wound you choose to bear, A war you fight each sunrise just to breathe your own damn air. I don’t fear the storm ahead; hell, storms made me what I am— A testament to every time the world said I can’t… and I said I damn well can. I ain’t afraid of dying—Death already tried once. But I rose from that dirt like a wolf from the dust. So if the storm is coming? Good. Tell it I’m home. I’m stormborn, fire-hearted, rooted like stone, A man built by battles most never will know. Let the whole damn sky split open tonight— I’ve lived through darkness that would swallow your light. If you judge how I live, you can walk on by— ’Cause I won’t change for no coward’s pride. I’m stormborn—thunder in my blood, rage in my bones, And I’ll die on my feet before I ever bow low.
